Carolina Montenegro-Ortiz, entrepreneur, personal trainer, nutrition fanatic, and health coach extraordinaire. Since I was just ten years old, I've fostered a passion for sustainability, nutrition, homeopathy, and learning how today's small decisions can have an impact on our personal and collective futures. As an adult, I've kept that flame burning, and it has led to many doors opening. In early 2002, I landed a position as a Direct Care Counselor working with Atypical children as well as children with other neurological disorders. Little did I know; this experience would provide me with the groundwork I needed to grow in this field. I'm passionate about learning new approaches and continue to study a wide array of methodologies such as RPM (Rapid Prompt Method), and MNRI (Masgutova Neurosensorimotor Reflex Integration). RPM provides the individual with an opportunity to improve their communication skills and MNRI, designed to restore neuro-sensorimotor development; its goal is to make a connection between sensory stimulation and motor response. In addition to these methods, I believe in the power of music, and how it can be a mighty tool to enhance and stimulate an individual's brain which leads me to neuroplasticity and bio-individuality, every program designed whereas physical or dietary is always personalized. I am blessed and grateful to work with children and adults, each with different levels of social, emotional, physical and cognitive challenges. When I'm not working with my clients, I'm likely up to my elbows in fresh soil. On my quest to sustainable living, I've discovered a passion for gardening. Recently, I also decided to tackle the world of triathlon training. As a newbie, I'm dedicated to putting in the miles and paying my training dues.
